Prof. Dr. Martin A. Bader
Dr. Martin A. Bader is a Swiss and European Patent Attorney and a representative before the Unified Patent Court. He is the founder and managing director of BGW IP GmbH, specializing in intellectual property management. Dr. Bader serves as a Full Professor of Technology Management at the University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt (THI), Adjunct Professor at McGill University in Montréal, and Lecturer at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Previously, he held the role of Vice President and Chief Intellectual Property Officer at Infineon Technologies AG.
Renowned as an IP strategist, Dr. Bader has been recognized for many years as part of the IAM Strategy 300, which lists the world’s leading IP strategists. He also acts as a mediator for the Mediation Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and serves on the editorial boards of key intellectual property journals.
Dr. Bader’s acclaimed publications, including Patent Management and Intellectual Property Management for Start-ups, have been influential in the field, further establishing him as a thought leader in intellectual property strategy and management.
