4iP Chairperson, Claudia Tapia spoke yesterday at ASTP-Proton’s on-going Annual Conference in Budapest. ASTP-Proton is Europe’s premier Knowledge Transfer Association and its annual conference, now in its 17thyear, attracts an impressive array of innovation stakeholders from global industry, universities and public research organisations.
Claudia presented 4iP Council’s research work in a session on the role of social media in providing visibility and understanding of intellectual property questions and notably referred to our empirical clarification of patent quality and our database of court decisions post-Huawei v. ZTE.
The session was entitled, ‘From Metrics to Media Houses,’ and in addition to 4iP Council, included contributions from Daniel Ras-Vidal, General Manager of the Norwegian Association of Innovation Enterprises (FIN) and Nedeljko Milosavljevic, Director of the Centre for Technology Transfer at the University of Belgrade and Vice-President of the ASTP-Proton Board.
