IAM magazine published in Autumn an article by Axel Contreras and Spyros Makris on the value of (partially) invalidated patents, where they conclude that the data from Germany suggests that those patents maintain a legitimate scope and, further, that they are usually perceived as valuable (or even more valuable) to their owners.
