Prof. Adam Mossoff

Adam Mossoff is a law professor at Antonin Scalia Law School, George Mason University. His scholarship on patent law and innovation policy has been relied on by the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and by the USPTO and by other U.S. federal agencies.  He has been invited five times to testify before the U.S. Congress on patent legislation and innovation policy.  He regularly engages in patent policy debates, with his writings appearing in the Wall Street JournalNew York TimesForbesSTAT, and in other media.  He recently published an article in Inquiry, a healthcare policy journal, titled “Patents as the Driver of the Unprecedented Biomedical Response to COVID-19.” He is a director and senior fellow at several academic centers, think tanks, and policy organizations.
