Patrick Cuka
Patrick is an economist with a Master’s Degree in Specialized Economic Analysis focused on Competition, Regulation and Markets from the Barcelona School of Economics. With hands-on experience in economic research and policy analysis, Patrick has published a thesis exploring the impact of alliances in the vessel shipping market. Furthermore, he has helped publishing several economic papers as a research assistant. He speaks German, Albanian, English, Spanish and Italian.
At 4iP Council, Patrick focused on the economic dimensions of standard-essential patents (SEPs), including evaluating the Licensing Negotiation Groups’ (LNGs) roles in licensing frameworks and technological advancement. He is particularly interested in the economic relationship between patents and innovation from an econometric angle.
