Mathew Heim

Mathew Heim advises clients on managing legal, regulatory or political risks and crises. He is senior adviser to 4iP Council Europe and a Visiting Research Fellow at Bruegel. Mathew speaks and writes regularly on topics of industrial, IPR and competition policy and his work has been published in, among others, the Journal of Intellectual Property, Information Technology and Electronic Commerce Law; the Competition Law Journal; the Journal of Public Affairs; Competition Law International; the Competition Law International; and the European Competition Law Review.

Most recently Mathew was Vice President and Counsel for Government Affairs at Qualcomm Inc. Prior to that, Mathew represented commercial interests during some of the most high-profile European anti-trust and merger cases.

Mathew read History at Bristol University and Politics at Exeter University and was called to the Bar at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 1993.
