Christophe Gösken

Christophe Gösken is a Hauser & Remarque Global Fellow at New York University and holds a doctorate from ETH Zurich. His research examines how intellectual property law and emerging technologies shape authenticity, market governance, and innovation across global cultural industries, with a particular focus on luxury goods, artworks, digital resale markets, and authentication technologies. Combining legal analysis with empirical methods, he has held visiting research appointments at NYU Stern School of Business and the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law. His work has been published in the Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice, and his paper on luxury-watch resale received first prize in the 2025 4iP Research Awards.
