Prof. Francesca Ferrari
Francesca Ferrari is an Associate Professor at the Economics Department (DIECO) of Insubria University in the field of Civil Procedural Law. Since 2020 and 2023, she has been qualified to hold the position of Full Professor in civil procedural law and in comparative law.
She has been a visiting professor at Harvard Law School and at Maastricht University.
She is a member of: the Board of the European Civil Justice Centre; the Italian Association of Civil Procedure Scholars; the International Association of Procedural Law; the Harvard Law School Alumni Association; the European Law Institute; the INTA (International Trademark Association); the Italian Society of Experts in Art and Entertainment Law;- Association of Evidence Scholars; the Italian Society for Research in Comparative Law; the Ibero-American Institute of Procedural Law; AIPPI (Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property). She also serves on the editorial board/scientific committee of: Rivista di diritto processuale; AIDA – Annali italiani del diritto d’autore, della cultura e dello spettacolo; the online journal Aulacivile; the Rivista del diritto delle arti e dello spettacolo;
She is the author of 4 books and more than 100 other publications. Since 1996, she has been practicing as a lawyer in Milan, particularly in the field of intellectual property. She is of counsel at Eptalex law firm.
