Communications manager, 4iP Council EU
Emma has over 20 years experience in international communications, marketing and partnership building spanning a range of vertical sectors and organisation types. She enjoys the challenge of deciphering complex topics, aligning data to strategic themes and generating diverse stakeholder support.
Emma has been supporting 4iP Council’s communication activities since 2014. Previously, she spent 12 years at the multinational internet technology provider Cisco, where she held communications, marketing and corporate social responsibility roles covering Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to that, Emma held the position of European PR Manager for the systems integrator Sema Group. She also managed the press office for the British Standards Institute for a number of years and has worked in consultancies and as an independent consultant.
Emma has a B.A. in Business Administration and Industrial Relations from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, a D.E.S.S. in Communications from the CELSA, Paris Sorbonne IV and is a graduate of Cambridge University’s cross-sector partnership post-graduate programme. She is a certified trainer for the Partnership Brokering Association.
